It now has much more the feel and vibe of a ship-within-a-ship complex, and it would be quite easy to spend the whole day relaxing here, without venturing into the rest of the ship. The ship also offers an “Extend Your Stay” option for people who had late travel arrangements. For a fee, the ship would store your luggage while you continued to enjoy use of the ship’s amenities. You could grab food with an included dining credit at Raw on 5. And, you had the continued use of your beverage package, if you had one. There’s lots to do onboard during the day from (free) morning stretch classes, to guided meditation to aqua fun in the main pool, street curling and pickleball.
It’s very long and narrow with multiple entrances from several directions. But, at the same time, no guests were forced to walk through the casino itself to get to points A or B. Supposedly, the cabanas have access to stunning ocean views (rather than direct access to the pool), but this was not apparent during the times that we walked through.

This may have been part of the reason that daily activities frequently departed from the printed materials. But, ideally, there would be some way of informing guests of changes in advance. Take advantage of the ship’s services and activities to enjoy mother/daughter or father/son massages, yoga classes, archery, musical shows, outdoor movies, and more. Add even more adventures to your family cruise by arriving early and staying later at the departure and disembarkation ports.
So I accepted the invitation and we flew out from Santa Barbara on a Wednesday morning, connecting in Phoenix and Charlotte, and arriving into Fort Lauderdale around 8pm. The nice thing about Fort Lauderdale is that the airport, several hotels, and the cruise port are all very close together, making the trip easier. Less than 15 minutes after walking off the plane we were at our hotel. Overall, the disembarkation process was orderly and well-managed. While not quite as speedy as the embarkation process, it still moved relatively fast once your group was called.
